1. How is Trinity Center for Urban Life connected to Trinity Memorial
Episcopal Church?
Trinity Memorial Church is the owner of the buildings at 22nd
and Spruce. TCUL is a non-profit, non-sectarian organization with
a community-based board. The mission of TCUL is to support the
buildings to keep them available for community use.
2. Are wedding rentals restricted to Episcopal weddings?
As a non-sectarian organization, the Great Hall at TCUL can be
used for any denomination or civil wedding.
3. Are renters limited to using an official caterer?
There is no official caterer associated with Great Hall events.
Renters are encouraged to bring the caterer of their choice for
a site visit.
4. Can I use my Trinity Center membership card for
discounts at non-Triinty Center music events occurring in the
Great Hall?
No, TCUL membership benefits apply only to TCUL Music events.
5. What is the parking situation?
Parking permits for the east side of 22nd Street from Pine Street
to Locust Street are available from the box office for most events.
There are also several public garages nearby. See the Maps/Directions section of this website for more information.
6. Do I need to make reservations for events?
For most TCUL events, admission is available at the box office
at the time of the event. Our events calendar will indicate any
need for reservations for special events. Rental organizations
set their own policies.
7. Are there any restrictions on the kind of groups/individuals
who can rent at TCUL?
TCUL has no restrictions regard racial, ethnic, or gender/sexual
identification.
8. Is the Great Hall handicap accessible?
No, at this time it is not easily accessible. Accessibility is
one of the goals of the capital
campaign.
